Denali National Park and Preserve - Day 1

Denali National Park is absolutely stunning. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we still explored in the rain. Cars are only allowed to drive 15 miles into the park, but we took full advantage of it. In the pouring rain, Dad and I hiked/rock-climbed to the top of a small mountain at mile 15, giving us an amazing view of Denali National Park and Savage River, or at least what we could see in the current weather conditions. We even saw a few moose along the way!
