Adventures in Downtown Tampa

Today we set out to explore Downtown Tampa!

Starting off at the Florida Aquarium, we splurged on the wild dolphin cruise. We were lucky enough to see quite a few dolphins, and some even came up very close to the boat! As a wildlife fanatic, this absolutely made my day.

After the cruise, we had plenty of time to wander through the exhibits of the aquarium. This aquarium is one of my favorites, as I feel it is very well designed. With a greenhouse area that makes you feel like you are immersed in the outdoors and the wild mangroves, and a floor to ceiling tank full of sharks, fish, turtles, and rays, the aquarium is extremely well designed and enjoyable to walk through.

We then spent the evening exploring the Tampa Riverwalk, soaking in the beautiful views that the city has to offer.

We finished off our day with a bite to eat at the Tampa Pizza Company. It was only a short distance from the Riverwalk and the pizza was phenomenal. Just what we needed after a long day of walking around the city!
