Ski the White Mountains
Updated: Jun 7, 2021
My family has a tradition of taking a ski trip up north every year around Christmas, and this year was no different. Our destination was North Conway, New Hampshire. A small town that is bustling with skiers, snowboarders, and outdoorsy people alike.

Just minutes from various mountains, you can ski a new place every day. While there, my family and I were able to ski Cranmore and Attitash Mountains. Cranmore is more family-friendly, as they have a wider range of easier trails, which usually results in the mountain being much more crowded. Whereas Attitash has a larger range of more difficult trails, and from the days I was there, it was much quieter than Cranmore. Which is always appreciated when you don't have to waste time in long lift lines! There are a few other mountains in the area that are worth checking out if there is enough snow.

North Conway is also minutes from the White Mountain National Forest. You will get the best views of Mt. Washington, and in the summer you can even drive up! There are plenty of places to hike and snowshoe, and even just explore the beautiful winter landscape.
